Day 59 (Month 2 – 28)
Newell needed me to go with him this morning — as sometimes happens if he slept badly. It means I got a great lunch and a nice dinner, but nothing done.
I did come to a conclusion though. Some areas of the house are in fairly good shape; the kitchen, the dining room, the living room (most of downstairs), the Guest bath…
and some are still junk pits; the library, the Studio, the Office, the Junk Room…
I think for at least the rest of this week, and probably next, I am going to revise my game list and roll my four-sided dice for one of those four rooms. Concentrating on the bad areas may help tame them more quickly.
If I get a handle on those, then I can go back to the normal routine and pick up the rough spots some of the other rooms still have.
I have a goal that I would like to be done and have a Fourth of July party…but I haven’t run that plan by Newell yet. It is still the goal. 🙂
I feel like curling up in bed with my Kindle for a few minutes and going straight to sleep early tonight. But I will see if I can get a bit done in the Office first. If I do, I’ll update. But I wouldn’t count on it.
