3/9/13
I was ready to skip tonight because I had nothing to say, but the Add a Post page came up, and I guess I’ll try.
I think the only way I will get any housework done is to just take a day off writing. Otherwise, I just sit at my computer all day looking for markets and trying to target them with a submission. It makes for a lot of writing, but a really messy house.
Today I started watching Fear Itself. I’ve watched 8 out of the 13 episodes so far and really liked 1. I would recommend “Something with Bite” highly. The rest of the episodes, not so much.
I’ve also been watching Supernatural again from the beginning so that Newell can see it, and it is really amazing how much it has improved from the beginning. As someone told me, they really hadn’t found their voice in the first season. (And they didn’t have Misha yet…)
I wrote a guest blog post on how great it is to be a writer in the current state of the industry. If she likes it, I’ll let you know when it will run. I also made two more submissions today.
I am very caffeinated at the moment. Time for some solitaire. 😉
Another poem stolen from one of my online communities tonight…this one I posted to Writer’s Cafe in 2008. (Reusing the photo too…I am a bad blogger!):
Call down the moon
and we’ll ride the wind
to find the fields where
the dragons lie.
The rainbow’s end is
bathed in stardust
and the pixies dance
to the nightingale’s song.
The Milky Way
becomes our river
as our ship explores
the sapphire sky.
It’s fueled by dreams…
and the magic of a smile.
