Today I finished my SKELLYMAN edit. Go me! That’s two books finished in the last two weeks. Of course, neither of them was start from scratch work, but two books! And not even two weeks into the year! How cool is that? I never work this hard? quickly? consistently? all of the above?
Whatever, it feels REALLY good. I can’t even be too upset with myself for not getting more cleaning done. I will find the balance in time.
For now, I need to find my next project. I think I will probably concentrate on short for the next few days. I would like to get some backlog of stuff for anthology submissions out of the way. And I have my play dates to consider.
But, probably next Monday or so, I will go back to the mystery I started a few years ago I think. I’ve never written a mystery to completion before. Now that I’ve written my first horror novel, I think I’m gonna try. 🙂
Big chunks of time scheduled for the next three days, but I’ll think of something to post. 😉
Till then —
Today I cleaned — absolutely nothing. 😦
Today I weighed — 188.1
Today I wrote/revised — By my count revised 11 Chapters (most very short leading to end) including at least one new chapter on SKELLYMAN. Out to beta readers.
Write, 2013 looks like it’s going to be very productive for you! Great job, sis!
I have a first line that was in my head all night:
“The rain tapped at the window like bony fingers.”
Now, I just have to figure out what to do with it. 😉
