Baby Steps…
Today was a really rotten day. First, my car wouldn’t start right after I paid the insurance and I had to call Newell to rescue me. Then, my laptop decided that the password I have been using since I set it up is no longer valid. Apparently, with Windows 8.1, the only fix for that may be reloading Windows…which came pre-loaded, of course, so I don’t HAVE a disc…
Anyway, between the two, my day was pretty destroyed. Though we did watch Guardians of the Galaxy
for the second time in two days. (I think Newell liked his Christmas present.)
Still, I was determined to do SOMETHING cleaning-wise today.
So, when Marvin was small, he had a hard time jumping onto the stair rail of the computer room. Plus, he’s just really clumsy for a cat. So Newell decided to try and build him a stairway up to the railing.
It might have been a good idea when he was little, but now, he just knocked things around, and we had been talking about removing it for weeks.
So, tonight, under the watchful supervision of His Majesty:
I dismantled the whole thing and put the boxes into the recycling bin. Still needs vacuuming and a little attention with a damp cloth, but CLEANING HAPPENED! Yay!
(And I got to take pictures with the camera on my new Google Nexus 9 Tablet
)
