Never Can Say Goodbye…
Since December 29th, there has been something on our DvR that we just couldn’t get around to watching. We kept putting it off, and putting it off. Well, tonight, in light of both of us being sick all weekend, we finally broke down and watched the series finale of Leverage. I have been a fan of Dean Devlin ever since Hard Copy, and I think he gave us something special in Leverage. The directing on the finale was beautiful, and that was him too. 😉  I will really miss this show, but somehow, knowing that somewhere out there Parker, Hardison, and Elliot are keeping on keeping on makes it easier to say goodbye…sort of.
So, being sick sucks. But I did get dishes washed today, for the first time all week. And the DvR is now down to last week’s Castle and tonight’s Walking Dead. Should be able to get that cleaned out tomorrow just in time for the Monday night shows. 🙂
I hoped to write another story today, because I found an interesting call that closes on the 1st, but I got caught up in working on the Scavenger Hunt when I felt like doing anything. Oh, really? What Scavenger Hunt, you ask? This one. And it’s not too late for you to come play too. Liz, might enjoy this a lot. If you guys do decide to play too, mention my name when you join, ‘kay? My player handle is riesheridanrose, and I’ll get credit if you play.
I’ve got some reading to do, so I will cut this short tonight. I hope to get back to exercising more soon. Being sick sucks! (yes, I said it again. :P)
The peacock roosts away
from clutching fingers
on childish hands…
safe in the treetops
where his furled fan
keeps secret his
lonely heart.
