I had a good time at the convention, but I am awfully glad to be home and I’m ready to get back to my normal routine. I ate way too much, drank too many Dr. Peppers, and didn’t get as much sleep as I like.

Today I had one acceptance and one rejection. Does that mean they cancel each other out? My very short story “To Run Is to Fly” was accepted by Four Star Stories for their “Short Short” issue out at the end of the month.

The piece that was rejected is a flash piece that I already wanted to change something on anyway, so I am not too disappointed that I’ll have a chance to. 🙂

Came home and watched some Supernatural while getting some re-organizing done in the Studio. Then Newell and I went to Five Guys to eat, since one of our favorite restaurants had closed down when I went to order delivery from them.

When we got home, I watched last night’s Once Upon a Time, and yeah–they went where I thought they were headed, but it was a more bittersweet story than I expected. Hope everything works out in the end…

Very sleepy, but trying to at least make it to 10 pm…lol

No brain for poetry though, so I’ll add that back in tomorrow…
