Went to a marketing webinar yesterday that made me come away thinking I am doing everything wrong.
Got a critique back today on SKELLYMAN that makes me wonder why I am bothering to try and write horror.
Right now, feeling extremely low and vulnerable. Probably, if I had gotten that critique BEFORE the major rewrite I just finished, it might have seemed valid…but I am second-guessing myself now. 😦  She did send another email telling me to remember it is only one person’s opinion…and now that the initial reaction is settling…maybe I’ll look at it again.
NEXT month.
And I was so pleased that I had written and submitted two poems for an anthology today.
And been asked by my good friend Marc Gunn to co-write a marketing book…
Well, at least my doctor was pleased with me today. Though she said I should be drinking 60 oz. of water a day.
So, when I got home, I dug out this:
It holds EXACTLY 60 oz. — and I drank a whole one between 3:30 and 6:00. Newell was most impressed. 🙂

Today I cleaned — nothing
Today I weighed — 187.6
Today I wrote/revised — two poems, and part of a short story — not 2000 words, but I am happy just to be writing SOMETHING everyday.
