Today, I went to see Les Mis. It was a good chunk out of my day…
I really liked it. Russell Crowe probably wouldn’t have been my pick for Javert either, but he didn’t bother me as much as most people. I hadn’t ever seen the play, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Hearing the soundtrack without the context doesn’t completely prepare you for the impact of the whole thing. I’d watch it again. 🙂 But not real soon.
I got home and did a pre-completion edit on a short story I”ve been working on for a long time. Edited the 3000 words already there and added about 1000 more. Not quite to goal, but I also attended a webinar on marketing this afternoon, so the day was really packed.
I put a load in the dishwasher, but I think that’s it for me tonight. Wiped out. Going to crash early, I fear. And think about how to plot the rest of that story.
Tracking:
Today I cleaned — 1 load of dishes
Today I weighed — 189.1 — almost back to where I started. *sob* And I don’t even get to eat much. 😦
Today I wrote/revised — about 4000 words total
