Still no new glasses…hopefully tomorrow so the headaches stop.
Did almost nothing but watch The Mentalist today. Though I did go and get Newell’s contacts for him.
And I got inspired this evening to go and revisit my CafePress stores. I think I will be consolidating and expanding them in the next few days. If I can get some outside income streams going…that would be an awesome thing. I have two main storefronts at the moment, RieDesigns, and WhiteRoseInk which was going to be a joint venture with my friend Mel White, but we haven’t ever gotten it fully populated. My friend Penny has some lovely things in her store, and I want to expand my offerings.
Between working on that and getting ready for ArmadilloCon this weekend, there will probably be little housework the rest of the week either. But I am having fun.

That sort of puts 2 and 2 together and skips a step at the same time..A ring of tohrns is a warding or protection for your dwelling. It may not be true, but it is guessed that this could be one of the origins of the wreath on the door. Old roses or wild roses come in because they have a short blooming season, but grow some really long canes. You can wind one of these around a craft store’s grapevine or honeysuckle wreath and create the same thorn effect. You can also make a simple hoop out of one cane and have the same protection. There is no difference, it’s just how elaborate you want to go with it.Very serious: If you choose to make such a thorn wreath, wear eye protection and wear heavy gardeners gloves.
