Another long day. Newell actually got up in time for his meeting this morning, which meant he set the alarm for 7, and it seemed only minutes since I went to bed at midnight…
I had to go in with him, because he had a dentist appointment. Plus there was a lunch for Logan today.
We went out to dinner with Logan this evening…but he has to go back to California on Sunday.
Anyway, I promised fireworks, so here are my best shots. I actually checked for techniques on how to photograph fireworks immediately before they started. 😉

So I was outside, reading the post when Ray comes up to me. Let me see, mommy! He was completely captivated. He thought they looked like pretty movie flowers (his words, not mine), then wanted to know where we could go get some. Cuz I’m a girl and girl’s like flowers.
So yes, VERY PRETTY. And facilitated a really nice mother-son moment 🙂 Thank you!
Nice job! They came out quite well (most of them 😛 )
There are a couple that shocked me in their brilliance. 🙂 Especially with no tripod. Next time, I hope to have a better set up in place on time.
