Okay, so when I responded to Liz’s message from yesterday that I was “casually optimistic” I MEANT “cautiously”…but I like the sound of that phrase. 🙂

Feeling a bit better today. Got a load of laundry through the dryer and hung up — though I am going to make Newell carry it upstairs. Taking it slightly easy still. Don’t want to relapse myself.

Did do one other major chore today. My Shi Tzi cat (Sunshine) really REALLY needed grooming, because his coat was a mess. It hurt him to try and brush the mats and burrs out, so we decided to go big and let it all grow out again, brushing him as it goes. This is a crotchety old cat, which is why we’ve let him go, but it got painful for everybody…

It doesn’t seem to be bothering him any, and I think he will have a much pleasanter summer this way.

Another grand note for today was that I was contacted by a representative from Sherwood Forest Faire to ask if they could use one of my photos in a press release. This is actually the    second time they have asked to use one of my pictures. Every time someone gives me a compliment like that, it makes me think all that practice was worth it!

Anyway, I think that is it for me today. Just checked with the doctor, and my lab results aren’t back yet. If I feel it is warranted, I’ll let you know what I hear. Everyone have fun!
