I’ve been very lucky. I don’t have any family currently serving in the military, and no close friends who had to go to war. But I deeply respect the men and women who have put themselves in harm’s way for my freedoms and safety. On this Memorial Day, I thought about that off and on all day. I hope you did too.

Newell is hoping to go to work tomorrow. I don’t know if he is feeling one hundred percent, but he is in the middle of a project, and doesn’t want to lose momentum.

I really rather hope he feels up to it, because I never get anything done when he is home. Even if we only sit at our respective computers doing our own things, at least we are in the same room together. I feel bad if I go off and do something else — especially if it is something I really would rather not do anyway, like dishes. 😛

But tomorrow, I have to wash them, whether he goes to work or not. And no playing EQ2 until I do!

I am planning on using the desire to play as my incentive to put in my three hours of work early. That way I am free to do as I please the rest of the day. Doesn’t that sound like a plan?

I did get the litter boxes cleaned and my plants watered today, so the day wasn’t TOTALLY wasted. Just about 99% of it. 😉

Found a market to submit to, though, so it was a good day to me.

Talk to you guys tomorrow.
